On June 27th, 2004, in celebration of our 22nd anniversary, we decided to "play tourist", and take one of Tiger Run Tours' Hummer Tours. These pictures were taken during that tour.

Our ride: a custom-designed Hummer.

The famous purple house in Montezuma, along with its owner. We delivered the Summit Daily.

The main drag in Montezuma.

The ruins of the mill in Saints John, an old mining town, ahead. Picture taken through the "second-story windshield".

The view from the top. Torrey's and Gray's peaks (both fourteeners) in the background, complete with a dusting of fresh snow.

The tundra was blooming, and storms brewing across the valley.

Our Hummer group.

The road. Yikes.

The second Hummer in our tour.

The slopes at Breckenridge, in the distance.

Looking down at the radical part of "Radical Hill". No...the tour didn't go down there, but we did see some folks on motorbikes.

The highlands were relatively flat, with some very cliffy areas.

The town of Montezuma, down in the valley, far left.

Minerals color some of the rocks.
